Beijing really gone crazy – unbelievable

So the football season is coming to a close and everyone knows what that means…..SUPERBOWL!!! Yes, I’m from the US, but I can’t help it, football is great. It’s actually the only sport I watch. Actually Super Bowl is great. I love the spirit of Super Bowl. I love the comrodity, the gathering of friends or family, the competing with friends or family, the shouting, the screaming, the physicalness, the brand new hilarious commercials, and of course, the loads of food and beer devoured throughout the entire game.

If you haven’t been part of a Super Bowl party, you’re definitely missing out. Even if you don’t understand the game, it’s great. Men and women shouting at the TV screen with buffalo wing sauce covering their painted faces or bright colored football jerseys, beer spilling every time there’s a good or bad play. It really is a sight to see….

So anyways, it’s Super Bowl XLII, Super Bowl 42. And while writing this blog, the New York (my home state) Giants has just sealed the deal for the Super Bowl. February 3rd New England Patriots vs New York Giants. I’m just hoping there will be a bar here in Beijing that plays it.

I’m really looking forward to this game and even the commercials, another favorite part of Super Bowl. So lets drink some beers, eat some wings, and shout like mad men this February 3rd. LET’S GO GIANTSSSSS!!!!

Now this tribute to hoops is probably not what you’re thinking of. This tribute to hoops is not for basketball, its not for the Olympic Games, its not even for the hoolihoop. It’s for hoop earrings and all those beauuuutiful girls that wear them. Why oh why do us men love them sooooo much? They attract almost as much attention as the female’s god-gifted breasticles and apple bottom, I said almost. There’s just something about them…they way they hang, the way they sway and bounce when women walk the way they do, the attitude they project, the swagger they bring, the raw sexiness they exude, the way they make women look so put together you understand and believe that yes! there is a god. And the simplicity of it all is even more astonishing. Hoops. A pair of large earrings shaped in a round circle that dangle, usually made of silver. It’s just that simple ladies. These little things can make a man do crazy things. They make us men buy you drinks, dance like a fool, pay for dinner and a movie, and even take you back home sometimes. So women all around the world, please keep on wearing those dangly earrings. I as well as every other heterosexual male bow down to you and them. Keep looking sexy, keep moving that body, and keep breaking our hearts. We love it too much.

Today my colleagues and I were talking about long distance relationships and how they even work. We all had different views and preferences when it came to relationships in general. Some liked a more intimate and close relationship when that significant other is always around you doing the same things. While opposite to that, others prefer someone who isn’t so (the infamous relationship word) “clingy” but need their space. Everyone usually is somewhere in the middle of this spectrum just like me. I lean more towards someone who likes to be close to me most of the time during the week but then gives me my space occasionally. My boss seems to enjoy his space and therefore prefers his long distance relationship where he only sees his girlfriend several times a year. All I can say is that after discussing the topic with my colleagues who have vastly different relationship preferences, I understand why opposites attract sometimes. Sometimes opposites can stir up new revelations of oneself and build a lasting relationship.

Sometimes, I really doubt, if entries posted by users in our events section really have something to do with China. This time, I decided not to delete the entry of a swimming school in Cologne (Germany) because there is a flood in South China.
